McGinn The $3M-revenue American Council On Renewable Energy announced April 27 it had hired Dennis McGinn as president. McGinn replaced founding CEO Michael Eckhart, who left Feb. 28 to become managing director and head of environmental markets and sustainability at Citigroup in New York City. McGinn, a retired vice admiral, said two members of ACOREs board of directors approached him after an initial search for a new president failed to find appropriate candidates.
